Young on Top

Finally found this book in Gramedia @ Pejaten Village. This book is quite hard to find, at least from my previous experience looking for it in several online bookstores. This book caught my eye when Andy F. Noya mentioned it on his show. Firmanzah, the youngest dean of faculty of economics in University of Indonesia, was the guest star. I thought he would be featured in the book, he didn’t.

As I began to read several pages, I told myself, this is the kind of book that I dislike. A motivational, overwhelmed by sweet too-good-and-too-easy-to-be-true words kind of book that I used to easily ignore. But I continue reading it anyway. It turns out that, the book is quite similar to other motivational books available in bookstores. It contains simple words, easy to follow but hard to implement tips and advice. In short words, it gives you directions to change yourself, pointer of things you must pay attention to in your daily life in order to succeed and to be a better person then you were yesterday. The book is a guideline for you to succeed in the young age, to be Young on Top.

Will the book succeed in changing me? I don’t know, haven’t finished the book yet. At least I (might) be in the right track, I continue reading the book (and hopefully, implement some, if not all, to my life :D ) and I didn’t ignore it like I used to. See, I’m changing right? :D
